At Redcliffe Primary School, ICT and Digital Technologies are a fundamental component of teaching and learning. ICT is integrated into our classrooms and we use Digital Technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Interactive Clever Touchboards are utilised in every classroom, enabling interactive instruction, the development of independence and student led activities. Students use PCs, laptops, iPads and a range of digital learning tools to enhance and support their learning across all areas of the curriculum.
Our specialist Digital Technologies program is taught across all levels from Kindergarten to Year 6. Students have the opportunity to engage with current appropriate digital technologies including desktop computers, laptops, iPads, digital cameras, robotics kits, 3D printing and beginner coding. A strong emphasis is placed on developing students into capable and responsible digital citizens.
