About Us

Redcliffe Primary School

We are located within the growing Redcliffe suburb, approximately 10 minutes’ drive from the CBD, 5-minute walk from the Redcliffe Train Station and close to the airport.

We cater for 270+ students from a vastly diverse range of backgrounds and provide a comprehensive educational program, which strives to engage and support all students. Our strong community, committed staff, School Board, and P&C are invaluable in achieving this, describing Redcliffe Primary School as innovative, fun, caring, inclusive, and unique.

When asked what made us unique, community feedback indicated this stemmed from the diversity of our students. We have over 35 different languages spoken (at home), and 10% of our student population are of Aboriginal heritage. Not only this, but we are nurturing; our teachers and parents support holistic student needs (e.g., academic needs, social interests) through avenues such as our fantastic School Leaders program, provision of Positive Behaviour rewards, and student clubs. We combine our nurturing approach with high expectations, supporting students to achieve personal, yet challenging goals.

In 2019, we successfully achieved Independent Public School (IPS) status. What a fantastic reflection of our inclusive practices, the processes we undertake to support student achievement, and our focus on future planning.
